Indoctrination: Serpent Venom - pt 6

Now back to the temptation in the wilderness.  The second lesson of the temptation in the wilderness is for you to learn the WORD, free of indoctrination and traditions.  Know your enemy and how he works in the pulpits and in this world stage.

Mathew 4:5  "Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,"

a pinnacle = the wing. Greek. to pterugion, used of that part of the Temple (or Holy Place) where "the abomination of desolation" is to stand, according to Theodotion (a fourth reviser of the Septuagint about the middle of century. (Bullinger; Companion Bible).

Of all places, on the pinnacle of the temple in Jerusalem, the holy city.  Jerusalem is where the antichrist, satan, will stand and declare himself to be God.  Many people, due to indoctrination and double-mindedness, will believe that he is the true Messiah.  The indoctrinated Christians will commit apostasy in worshipping the wrong messiah, switching their faith in one instant, by worshipping satan (the son of perdition; abomination of desolation).

apostasy - the state of having rejected your religious beliefs or your political party or a cause (often in favor of opposing beliefs or causes).

Apostasy is the ultimate form of double-mindedness and hypocrisy.  The entire indoctrination process occurring is geared towards the worship of the false messiah.  Thus, it is written, "Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil".  The church system doesn't teach you about the spirit of deep sleep because it's a part of it.  Yet, the warnings are written throughout the WORD.  You have eyes to see and ears to hear, don't you?

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4  "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."

The "falling away" means apostasy (Greek - apostasia) through indoctrination, double-mindedness and the traditions/doctrines of men.  The falling away intensifies with each passing day.  People think that they will be raptured away and satan will be standing there, pretending to be their messiah, offering free tickets to hell.  The indoctrinated and unsealed will be so blind, they won't know the difference until it's too late.

Leaven modifies, lightens and fluffs TRUTH.  We all know that satan can tell 90 percent of a truth, twist the last 10 percent and turn it into one big lie.  Indoctrination will turn your mind upside down... filling it with half-truths and contrary beliefs.  The evil one knows Scripture better than most Christians.  It's unfortunate but true.  However, the devil quotes the Scriptures with a twist.

Matthew 4:6  "And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone."

Psalm 91:9  "Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;"
Psalm 91:10  "There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling."
Psalm 91:11  "For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways."
Psalm 91:12  "They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone."

The evil one has no shame, because he is deliberately misquoting Scripture to Jesus CHRIST.  Jesus is the Living WORD.  But what does that tell you?  Satan is doing the same thing many so-called teachers do this day, misquoting and taking things out of context, fabricating traditions and false doctrines.  Did you catch the adding of "cast thyself down" and lest "at any time"?  The devil also left out "in all thy ways".  A "way" is a path or course of life, your walk with Christ.  GOD will protect you on this journey.  If you test GOD, you are off that path, and His angels will not provide the protection.

The importance of learning and knowing the WORD is vital... it seals your mind with Truth.  If you can see or hear, if you can read and write, the more abilities and skills that GOD has given you, the more you use them towards learning and sharing His WORD.

So why does satan stop at Psalm 91, verse 12?

Psalm 91:13  "Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet."

adder = H6620. pethen (peh'-then); From an unused root meaning to twist; an asp (from its contortions): - adder.

Because Psalm 91, verse 13 refers to satan's own head being crushed (Gen 3:15).  The adder is a venomous snake and it moves by contorting or twisting.  It injects venom, or poison, to immobilize and digest its prey via toxins.  That sounds exactly like satan.  The enemy immobilizes and dissolves the minds of the sheep with indoctrination and false doctrines.  Double-mindedness will render the prey immobile and ready to be used as puppets.  The serpent and the dragon are names of satan.  He is the very same serpent in the Garden of Eden.

Revelation 22:18  "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, GOD shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:"
Revelation 22:19  "And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, GOD shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book."

If any man shall add or take away from the words of the BOOK, GOD shall add unto him plagues or take away his part out of the Book of Life and out of the holy city.  It will be the end for satan, for the last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.  If you want to protect yourself from lies, indoctrination and false doctrines, there's only one way to do it right, check it out for yourself.

Mathew 4:7  "Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the LORD thy GOD."

tempt = G1598. ekpeirazō (ek-pi-rad'-zo); From G1537 and G3985; to test thoroughly: - tempt. G3985 = peirazō (pi-rad'-zo); From G3984; to test (objectively), that is, endeavor, scrutinize, entice, discipline: - assay, examine, go about, prove, tempt (-er), try.

Obviously, Christ lived as a perfect man and had no blemish or weakness.  Christ went through this for you to show you how the evil one operates and how you should live your life as a Christian.  The devil runs this material, world system, because he is the prince of this world.

The evil one will spot your weaknesses and offer you a bargain, or price, to buy you out.  All souls belong to GOD, so the only thing an individual can sell to the devil is his spiritual mind and heart.  In doing so, the person will not repent, believe and follow Christ.  What you put first in your mind and heart, that is who or what you worship, plain and simple.  Many people sell out; some sell low and others high, but it's still selling out.  The devil will try to get you at the cheapest price, in order to fully shame you in the end.  Follow the One True GOD, in the Lord Jesus CHRIST, and His Spirit will protect you.

To be continued...

Peace in CHRIST JESUS,
